Meet Lisa

Smiling woman with glasses and gray hair.

Hi, I'm Lisa.

I didn't start out wanting to be a coach. I wanted to be a singer...or an astronaut. One required too much hustle; the other, too much math.

Truthfully, I didn't even know this type of coaching existed. I just knew I wanted to help people.

Following that purpose took me down a career path that probably wouldn't make much sense on paper. I've worked in professional theater and youth arts programs, supported attorneys in corporate law, led nonprofit initiatives, managed teams, worked in HR and Learning & Development, and partnered with organizations around the world to develop leaders.

Looking back, though, I can see the thread connecting it all. Every chapter taught me something about people. Every role gave me another lens into human behavior, organizational culture, and what it takes for people to do their best work without losing themselves in the process.

That belief sits at the heart of my coaching.

I don't think people need to become someone else to be successful. I think they need the confidence to become more fully themselves.

Along the way, I had the opportunity to work for and alongside just about every type of leader. I saw how small, nearly imperceptible behaviors could shape the success of individuals, teams, and entire organizations.

I've worked for leaders who helped me discover strengths I didn't know I had. I've also worked for leaders who made me question whether I had any at all.

Those experiences shaped the coach I've become.

I want to help create environments where people can do their best work. Sometimes that means helping leaders align their intentions with their impact. Sometimes it means supporting someone through a career transition, burnout, or a season of uncertainty. And sometimes it means helping people recognize when they've become their own toughest boss.

No matter where you've been, where you are, or where you're headed next, my goal is the same: to help you navigate work and life with a little more confidence and a lot more self-understanding.

I don't believe growth has to be heavy all the time. Some of our biggest breakthroughs happen when we're willing to get curious, laugh at ourselves, and experiment with a different way of seeing things.

Today I'm an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and am certified in Hogan Assessments and Crucial Conversations. I also draw from years of experience using CliftonStrengths, MBTI, DiSC, conflict assessments, and 360-degree feedback tools. I've learned that no assessment tells the whole story, but they offer a helpful lens through which we can better understand ourselves.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Theatre from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, with additional coursework in creative writing, multicultural studies, and American Sign Language.

Outside of my work, you'll usually find me painting, writing, or singing. I also volunteer with organizations that support literacy access for the blind and visually impaired, as well as life and career support for neurodivergent communities (of which I'm proudly a member).

Whether we're talking about careers, creativity, or confidence, I believe every person has untapped potential. Sometimes they just need the right conversation (and someone willing to ask the right questions) to uncover it.
